Just remember that KT88s are $50+ apiece. I think my JJs were $55. Had to buy six for the DR400. Walked bow-legged for a minute.

Damn son... I got a quad of Gold Lions for $175 on eBay. I think he sextet was like $250.the increase in bass response over the old mismatched GE/???? 6550s is huge. I basically have to roll the bass way down or I'm in boom city.

NPD. Received the Foxrox Octron 2 today. This pedal is totally cool. The lower octave is pretty useless to me lower than the 5th fret with my tunings but the upper octave sounds wicked. The versatility makes this one of the cooler pedals in my little collection.

I've had way too much fun already and I haven't begun to mess with signal placement, the effects loop or any of the interior pots and switches.

I have such a fetish for octave sounds.
