To B or not to B?

Still haven't decided to make my nice new (to me) Peavey T-40 BEAD or not. On the one hand I really want to use it as my main bass and my one band just now plays in B (sometimes dropping that to A) but we haven't been playing much recently as one of the guys is super busy with other stuff. So maybe I'll end up finding a new band and playing in standard again...

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...
Depends how much you would use a high G in regular old E standard. That's the nice thing about BEAD... it works, mostly, for stuff in standard, and it's also easy to find strings.

I might be wildly off base, but I have a suspicion the company name might be a joke/dig related to that. Having heard the term thrown around in the past by bandmates that equate expecting someone to show up within an hour of the pre agreed upon time, remembering how to play songs, to be equal to nazism.
I was hoping it was a reference to the Roman thing. Like Caesar and stuff.

There's a registered Packers bar in every state of the US, and most countries in the world...Hows that for a following, hmmm? Cheese heads unite!
I've always kinda liked the Packers. Partly because as I recall, the team is owned by Green Bay. So they can't threaten to move and stuff. Also, Aaron Rodgers is a Cal guy, so that's made me like them more, lately.

I never use the G string just now and don't really miss it, just keeping one or the other for practice. I'm currently trying to learn double nickels on the dime by Minutemen so the one in standard comes in handy for that :)

They put a jail in the Iowa stadium b/c there were so many tailgating shenanigsns. Spent many a Saturday tailgating both as undergrad & afterward. Not as much these days, but I still get down at least once per season.

The Eagles not only have a jail but they also have a special court held on Sundays just for arrests made at the game. [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]
