Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread, Part 90: Maxed Out

Feeling kind of s***y today. I told a guy here that I'd buy his bass, but went to check the gear fund this morning, and my wife had used it to cover a bill by accident. Sent him a PM to tell him it was a no-go. I told him to leave me negative feedback if he wanted. Damn shame too, it was a hell of a deal.

corey i just sent you a PM. your expertise is needed!

I responded, hopefully it'll be of some help. I was totally flying blind when I worked on that Grabber.

I was wondering if this one was yours Cory... Happy for you. Nick said he's backlogged when I inquired about a preamp.

Yup, it's getting so close after the long, patient wait lol. I've had Nick build me a preamp, I've bought 4 pedals off him and having this built. At this point, if you're waiting for a Dunwich build, you can just look up ahead in line and see me waving back at you.

I almost want to take my 415 design and have Nick sub it out to someone to build, so there can be a Dunwich logo on it to match the head lol.

FN A that is a wicked cover. Steve Miller Band is one of my guilty pleasure bands. I love the bass lines in SMB.

He's a local boy, I don't listen to him a lot but I appreciate what he did. That cover is just incredible - the tones, performance, arrangement - all top notch. I really dig the production too, you can tell it was just recorded live in a room and it sounds great. I can't say enough good stuff about it and I Are Droid in general.
