Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread, Part 90: Maxed Out

Looking at a craigslist gear ad and it mentioned the band so I looked them up... Lol it's a Christian metal band and this one super dorky looking member is wearing a shirt that says he's part of the "sex slave resistance for Nepal".

It's a wife beater which really conflicts with a supposedly serious message. Also what kind of resistance does a broke texas based Christian metal guy provide any of the women of Nepal?

An old friend of mine's guitars would always smell like metallic onions. Might have been the way that his sweat interacted with the strings. Or the fact that he smoked like a chimney and didn't wash his hands. Or a disgusting combo of all three. I learned pretty quick to never touch the guys instruments. Gross.

I've read that some people produce dimethyl disulfide in their sweat/body oils. Which is a compound used as a food additive for onion and garlic flavoring, among other things. I'm sure the smoking and not washing hands probably didn't help.
