What's up fellas. I got nothing, work is busy, Solace on the headphones.

Was hoping to get a camping trip in this weekend, but the friends that were going to go probably aren't going to be able to make it. No fault of theirs, just kind of disappointing - the weather is supposed to be awesome. To top it off, no shows or anything interesting going on in town either. Bummer.

The VT-RM will definitely help, having a Mids dedicated knob. Is it mid-lacking to you from where you're standing? That may be the case if you can't get far out enought to hear the mids in fro

Last weekend we kayaked over to the island by my house, where they have like a religious retreat deal, with fire rings and picnic tables. They let locals use it when they aren't saving lost souls LOL. Gave me the camping itch big time.

I always use 500k audio from guitar fetish, unless I scavenge them off stuff. They taper well, give more brightness and do everything a 250k does, just a little more as well. Even my old esquire was 500k pots, though usually I switch to bypass the tone knob. My mudbucker is currently wired straight to jack and seems to have more going on in the highs, but I didn't go for a giant overwound humbucker right at the neck for an even tone either.

Series vs parallel, I assume that's the coils in the mudbucker, I'd def make that switchable if I was determined to drop it from the original series.

Daddy-O! Being a guv'nor clone with it's volume, treble, mids, bass, and gain you can shape it nicely.

I liked that Windsor tube head but it would flub out through my previous cab setups so I sold it and them towards the dually. The daddy-o does pretty well at getting that marshally tone and doesn't flub it seems.
