Taking my yba 200-2 to a tech today for a couple mods. Speaking of mods...

Just put a chrome Hipshot bridge and tuners and a new set of Lollars in my ‘02 Gibson T Bird. Incredible pickups

Well I spoke too soon like an impatient autistic fuggwad (no offense to the autistic fuggwads among us). Going to retrieve it on Sat. if he's still got it.

Going to sell the Sunn Beta, the SVT-III Pro and probably the Acoustic 320/301 combo, anyone here want first dibs? That should cover the new amp plus some $$$ I've been dumping into my van.

Atta-boy! I'd keep the 301 though. Probably sounds great with the svt, if it can handle the power...does it have the original speaker?

No, it has an Eminence Omega Pro in it (gold label). Sounds pretty great, but I need to find out what impedance it is, if it's 8ohms I'll probably ditch it too. I have a 2x15 and two 1x15's so it's not like I really need the 301. It's fun to stack them all and make the house shake though.

Usually keep both pickups on, with the neck at 90% and the bridge full for a little more twang. I tell myself in my head it's like a Rick, even though I know it's not :)

I don't think you could derail this thread if you wanted to, it sort of meanders on it's own time through whatever, including posting your new stuff; certainly no offense was meant to you.

Is your headstock just darker, browner from the lighting in the picture or is it naturally that warmer tone? My BTJ's headstock is bright white under it's clear coat and I absolutely hate it. I've thought about trying to paint it a few times to match the body, but I know I won't be able to do a nice job and I'd want the Fender labels back on it and it's all too much work.

Even if it were that warmer, browner, colour I'd be so much happier.

I feel your pain, I've already offloaded a couple choice pedals that I already miss and my only guitar. Luckily I sold that to a buddy who's basically just holding on to it...all this while trying to put together a drumset and rebuild an organ for the studio, and finish my first prototype bass. That last one is what's dipping into the funds more than I want, but it's so close to being where I want it.

I wouldn't blame ya, especially without the original speaker.
