So basically, I can out this INSIDE my Pork Loin and require no extra power plugs on my 1Spot? That sounds ideal. I’ll have to look into this. Thanks!

Wouldn't see why not, but you might want to first eyeball inside the PL and make sure you have room and then run it past someone with more clue than I.

Logic, to me at least, dictates that it goes inline after the input on the PL, like between the wires coming off the input back to the main board and then you can just piggy back the power wires inside. GGG stuff is pretty common, I would think with some research you can find people using it in such a manner.

Or...stick the tuner in front of the pedal, which does the same thing.

If you’re talking about signal, I would think the opposite - buffer goes last, on output of PL, as that is where the tuner is being used. If you mean power, IDK. I’d also try to have the buffer on a switch, if possible.

I'll leave it to Klein to clairfy the former, I wasn't paying enough attention to know... but yeah, on the side of the PL where you were running the tuner would be the logical answer.

Agreed, or any number if DIY Pedals forums out there, but there's lots of guys right here with the knowledge to answer rather than my halfassed fumbling.

I would think youd either wire it so it was in between the switch and the pork loin so it activated when the switch came on or youd wire it in between switch and the output then youd have an always buffered signal

There's a buffer for sale on the STL craigslist right now, looks like someone parting out a big board. Take a gander?

bought a compressor. did i need one? probably not. but there was a gaping space on my crappy DIY pedal board and i just couldn't justify a need for anything else.

my wallet hates me.

Actually still have the P4’s that came in the Blazer I replaced with a model P for no reason cuz it basically sounds the same. Could pop those in.

Anyone played the BC R eagle nj series? I played a mockingbird few weeks ago it was pure thunder with two p pups. Out of my price range but there’s a few 80’s mij nj series that look cool.

Been curious about those too. I love the eagle shape and would love a double-p config. Sadly can't say I've been able to try one.
I really miss having a p bass of some sort, I am kinda leaning towards something like a bc rich, old kramer. Or maybe this guy, so ugly its cool [westone futura]

I have a Korean-made Platinum from '99 that makes me wonder why so many people hate on them. I'm not sure if it's because mine came from a short period after Class Axe and before Hanser when they were trying to get their act together but before they bailed out, or if I'm just not snob enough to figure out why it's inferior.

Even after buying a Blacktop Jazz becuase "better," it's still the heaviest sounding bass I've ever heard.

Eh, TBers tend not to like pointy basses, and like to be gear snobs. As long as the neck and trussrod are good, despite what many may think, for a point and shoot p bass, thats all ya need. Slap in a replacement pup if need be, and yer in business. As @socialleper has pointed out before, a p is a p is a p.

I love my ad200b but if i could find something with similar tonal character at significantly less weight, I'd be into that. I'm going to order one next week and Ill do a report when I get a chance to run it through it paces.

I have a feeling you are not going to be much help for my GAS.

It is not even on the Orange site, but I saw some listed on Reverb. Faceplate is different than the older ones, taking on a style like the ad200.
