Same as above with the addition that it is always different when you are in different situations. Obviously changes in volume, room size, stage setup, hollow vs solid stages, sound systems, etc can change the way your bass and amp interact pretty dramatically, and it's especially noticeable with intentional feedback.

So much what thombo says here. Ive found on longer stages or long rooms it can become much more difficult to get feedback to happen for me. Ive been in some venues where ive had to put my headstock on my cabinet or amp to get it going.
