Love my pork loin to death, but I wouldn't call it grindy. It adds a subtler overdrive and fatness to the sound.You all are awesome, thanks a ton for the req's.
I'm going to try to track down a porkloin and a B3K and see how my fretless sounds through em. Both of those seem like they might fit better into what we're doing (thrashy prog stuff) and sound like they're a bit more mid-focused? at least to my ears anyways.
We only have one guitar so it feels like there is a bit more sonic space for bass in our mix.
