Yeah, I have a Thunderclapper I bought after seeing you guys live as well. I was going to sticker bomb the 12/6 with bands I like but the coating doesn't let stickers adhere very well so I stopped after Khemmis.
about to head out the door to my first Sleep concert. I cant wait!!
Maybe the 12/6 just doesn't like Khemmis... too many big cabs, it gets insecure.

Only 4. Sounded massive though. First song he used one of the new 5 string Rick's, then used his 4 string for the rest of the set. The 5 sounded much more mid-rangey than the 4. The 4 has more balls to it.
No fedora, no tort. Paying gigs, tho. 
Only axe I'm using these days is my Fireglo 4003. P bass needs a new input jack (or resoldered connection pry) and the namesake T-bird is in storage.

I just got Behind the Wall of Doom as an early x-mas present, I highly recommend it if you're a fan.

Candlemass are legends. I've always thought they had much more in common with heavy metal than the direction most doom bands headed. I really wish Leif would put himself at the forefront a little more as a bassit.
It is weird how extremely broad the definition of "doom" really is. It can sound like black metal turned down to 1/4 the speed, it sound like someone just trying to relive 1972, it can sound like super down tuned down tuned trash, or sometimes it is really just modern metal without all the leather and BS.
I like the music on most Candlemass releases, but I don't like a lot of the vocals. The same goes for Trouble. The Candlemass album I like the most is Psalms for the Dead.

Not bad at all. My only gripe with post Marcolin Candlemass is they just sound like Solitude Aeturnus, and it's like... if I want to hear SA, I'll listen to them. Pretty cool that they got Johan back though. I heard that guy was not at all into metal when they hired him for Epicus. I still miss Marcolin but I always heard he's got a massive ego. Oh well, I guess it goes with the massive hair!
