Looks like the Morley distortion has been delivered gonna give it a try when i get home tonight.

If nothing else this is by far physically the heaviest pedal ive ever owned. The case must be made of steel. Ive owned other larger pedals and theyvr never weighed this much. Probably weighs like 8 lbs.

So i got to play with it some. It sounds pretty good for sure, im not sure its doing anything you couldnt get from any other over drive pedal. Its kind of reinforced the idea to me that the guy from gorguts has to be splitting before this pedal though. The overdriven high end sounds really similar but he carries way more clean low end through in that recording than i can get from it.
Its got about two sounds you can coax out of it, a somewhat over driven sound or a wooly and dark fuzz when everythings cranked. Ill work on a some samples this weekend. Im no Colin so ill probably play something a little easier.

Wow, I'm going to see High on Fire headline a monster bill tomorrow that I didn't know about till my singer mentioned it at practice tonight. I'm so clueless it's not even funny.

Wow, @callofcthulhu you guys harmonize well. I'm envious. I can sing, but my harmonization is hit-and-miss even when it's on. You should have convinced baby spice (I think that's what it's called) to shave his chest.

Plus, you're better than the band you're covering, I envy your singers hair, and I want to terrorize a crowd by wearing a leopard print spandex bodysuit now.

Edited to add: Yeah, I say wow too much. Apparently I'm easily surprised.

The only flats ive ever tried were on a p bass at a guitar shop. So im right there with you. I like a bright zingy bass

I like bright zingy bass a lot, but I tried the cobalts on a whim. I've been using nothing but slinky's for close to 20 years besides d'addario nickels once. I've been real impressed with em.

Shows how much I know about strings...I thought Dunlop made both Chromes and super bright rounds...

"Heavy is good. Heavy is reliable. If it does not work you can always hit him with it."

"What, you afraid of ze Germans?"

Hands down one of my favorite movies, haven't seen it in some time though.

No, Tommy. There’s a gun in your trousers. What’s a gun doing in your trousers?
