Well, watts is a pretty terrible way of measuring how loud you are. It depends on the THD they measured the amp's watts rating at, and it doesn't take the speakers into account at all. I've had a 200W 1x15 combo that could never seem to keep up with my surf rock band, and my 6W VHT Super 6 Ultra can reach volumes that I'm pretty sure disturb my neighbors when pumped through my 2X15 Ampeg. A watt's a watt, except when it's meaured differently, and it depends on what you have assigned to dealing out its sound waves - and you really have to more than double your watts (yes, when rated the same way) to really get a perceived boost in volume.
But yeah, bad advice abounds on the internet when the response doesn't take the concerns of the request in mind. I've had my own terribly unfulfilling exchanges around here WRT to that.
In totally non-bass related news, I recorded an idea track on a mostly finished track (still needs vocals, and the guitarist thinks the chorus needs something - hopefully the organ part I added will be "something") for my band's next album with my Reface YC this afternoon. Yeah, I'm totally happy with it. I'm controlling it through a MIDI hookup from another keyboard just to make it easier, but I'm super happy with the sound and especially it's Leslie emulator, even just using the mono output on the Farfisa setting.
I really dug this. The only thing I could think of is to have the guitar solos to have a bit more presence and it feels like they're pretty scooped over all. It was great to listen to!
All watts are is a measure of work performed electrically. if you have a crappy speaker, well, its not as efficient. but yeah, they're a terrible unit for measuring loudness or perceived loudness. And yeah. I've seen enough of the terrible threads here to not venture all that far outside of this thread, LOL.
Anyways, I was screwing around with some jazz tunes and this thing came out. Listen at your own risk, haha. Bonus kid sniffling in the background and star trek on the tv.
So I'm trying to flip a few of those DOD pedals and I just got an email today saying I needed another picture. The boxes for these pedals are sealed, but Reverb only allows retailers to post new items. Anyway I replied back that it would devalue the item and I won't do that, he basically repeated himself.

Could you just use a stock photo of the pedal and mention that in the listing?
Depends on so much, a 100 watt amp might do it, depends on the cab, and what you want to hear.
Take my comments with a grain of salt because I'm no expert...
I'd agree with the guy in the other thread about the vocals being too forward. They sound like they're sitting on top of an instrumental track, rather than a part of it, if that makes any sense.
The first thing that struck me is that it sounds kinda' muffled overall (other than the vocals). That might be part of the reason the instruments sound a bit distant compared to the vocals.
I'd like to hear the drums mixed less mono, but that's just personal taste. I'm not saying go so far as to hard pan the high hat to one side and the floor tom on the other side, but a little bit of stereo imaging would be good to make the drums sound like they're not just a point source. Again, that's just personal taste.
Overall though I think it sounds good, and you're easily most of the way there.
Even that has less to do with volume, if the cab isnt up to snuff.

Yeah ive messed with it i just got distracted and havent finished the demo. Ill try to get that done tonight
almost finished recording our new album and we have new t-shirts coming. the image will make more sense once you see/hear the concept behind the album.
