If it were me in Australia (where everything is way more expensive) I'd look for something from Peavey or Hartke. I'm partial to 15" drivers and it seems like there's always 1x15" cabs for sale cheap (around here at least). A matched pair of those or a matched pair of 4x10s with the TB1000 should be loud enough for most projects unless your band is doing something crazy with multiple rigs.

Just make sure to check power handling, as older 15" drivers are usually rated pretty low.

just to be the devils advocate, I got my 200S cab over from California to Auckland NZ for about 1500nzd. less than retail on any cab of similar calibre I've seen here.

cheaper to buy speakers and build though. I found a source for Delta 15A speakers so I think I'll be able to make a Baltic birch clone for less than 800.

Is he playing with the orchestra and band?

I saw that show and I was a little let down. One of the most frustrating things was that Del just wasn't very good. He sort of mumbled a lot of words which kind of defeats the purpose of his style.

Hopefully, he won't be with the orchestra because honestly it didn't add much to the show and I am pretty sure that they just hire them locally so it sounded a bit off.

my dad is a huge dune fan, thinks the movie is abysmal. but its fun for sure, definitely a time piece from the early 80s, i love it, even tho i agree with all your comments haha.

Went back to the church, crown and American audio power amps, the rocktron intellipitch for $230. Then a free stereo thing I'll probably give my friend whose actually got a stereo.

The guy really knows his gear and yet kept talking about how he's always buying things from people who don't know the value of what they got...

Yeah, it's definitely a fun watch but that casting -

Kyle MacLachlan as Paul? No.

Dean Stockwell as Dr. Yueh? No.

Patrick Stewart as Gurney Hallack? **** no - in the books Gurney is a huge, scarred former slave / current warrior. Ron Perlman is closer to what the book describes, but not ugly enough.

Sting as Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen? NO! Feyd, while young and handsome is a brutal, bloodthirsty psychopath - Sting couldn't pull it off - no matter how many pairs of metal underwear he went through.

The guy they got for the Baron Harkonnen was great - though not fat enough.

haha, how do you not feel like you're playing on a childs toy with a dually and Tb?

I'm 5'8" and I feel gigantic next to it.

its so beyond corny, how david lynch could make something that 80s is hilarious. but he still rules.

sting as anything other than sting from the police is a joke. and go easy on patrick stewart, he might have been miscast, but hes awesome in everything he does.

Hey dudes. Having fun out in EU with the wife.

Bongripper just got added to a fest in Florida in late August, not sure if anyone is down that way, but we'll be there if anyone is in the area.

Also playing Pelican, mouth of the architect, asg, storm of light, and a bunch more.
