They've been around for quite some time. I've been gassing off and on for one of these, but the price has always been a dealbreaker.

There should be an archived forum board that is the uncensored, un-moderated record of threads & comments that led to members being banned. No comments allowed, no additional posts. Like a wall of fake IDs behind the counter at a liquor store...

Nah it was a guy dissing Rickenbacker fanboys of all things.
He's not even a fanboy, just didn't like the dude's uppity tone and responded in harshest possible kind.
I think I'd look at getting banned from TB as a blessing in disguise.

Maybe that's the only way to save myself from myself. I'd also stop hovering in the classifieds like dope-fiend. I mean, there's still Reverb - but TB is the primary source.
Somehow I've lucked out from that end of the board. Odd too, because I was sucked into a few paintball forum classified sections for the better part of 2 decades. I looked through it every few hours...but I do have a problem with scouring Reverb.
Good to know it's been around. I haven't dug further, but seems fairly legit. If you end up taking a bite, let us know.
This is like mine, same color (mine has a EGC neck). It's not the bass I'm using with the band but I love it and it's probably the only piece of "valuable whatever" I have ever owned in my life, and now I'll probably have to sell it, 'cause I believe I can consider myself "almost unemployed" by now.
I hate everything.
