If anybody has a way to contact AC they should let him know it’s for sale.
I already messaged Sleep on insta but seeing as how they have 16k followers I find it doubtful they'll pay attention.
I messaged Jason Roeder on insta since he has only 2k followers, and emailed the Sleep band page. Hopefully someone who can contact Al directly sees. As a huge Al fanboy it'd be so frickin cool to see him get that bass back.

You could also try Emil Amos or Tyler Trotter. No response on any fronts. I even saw an unsolicited post about the bass on insta while just randomly scrolling so if that many people know, Al probably knows. We all know he has no shortage of rics of his own so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

On insta, Matt Pikes wife, Alyssa Maucere [awesome bassist and tattoo artist too, btw], replied to superfuzzcoven [who had posted it] that they had notified Al and are trying to get the bass.

Are y'all planning on putting out an EP or album or anything like that? I've listened to the stuff you put on soundcloud or bandcamp or something like that and really enjoyed it. I know on insta you said that you were getting your stuff ready to play live.
No definite plans yet, but I've been looking into recording some stuff soon.

Some time I threw my back out so now I'm travelling 'light' to band practice. Only my slab instead of EUB and pedals. Yesterday I also took a Rat clone that didn't work on bass for my guitar player to try. This meant his dirt became available to try. And holy smokes! That sounded unexpectedly great on bass! The Ibanez Soundtank Trashmetal! All knobs on 10 and go! High gain, almost fuzzy tone, not a lot of low end loss. 10/10, would play again.

yeah not a bad pedal. ended up with one included with another pedal. gave it a couple mods (absolute most important was increasing the value of the debounce capacitor because otherwise turning on and off was erratic). ended up sending it out as part of a trade with another dude

Is it based on anything? I read (somewhere on the Internet) that it had some things in common with the RAT, but wasn't one at all.
not really. gotta find my schematic and double check but it's only related to a rat in the sense that it uses an op amp and make guitar go brr

we've been back in the studio editing and mixing the new album, feels good to be making progress because we started recording almost a year ago and its been 3 years since our last full-length. its been a real slog with lots of ups and downs but we can finally see the light now.
now the debate is whether or not to press vinyl. its really the only way we can cover our expenses but with no shows happening its going to be tough to sell enough copies and we maj just end up in a hole.
