Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread, Part 90: Maxed Out

Sounds cool! Any material to share ?
I've try not to go down the splitting-signal train (my board is already heavy loaded) but it seems to work very good for many of you guys haha
The Gucci Flip Flops clip I posted recently was a mix of clean and the PD7, but not through this exact setup. I'm already finding that I can get a wide variety of tones with this current setup.

I've thought about getting a backup just because they're relatively inexpensive and I love mine.
Don't you dare take "mine"! ;) I'll probably pick one up with my next paycheck. They don't seem hard to find necessarily, there's just not tons of them out there. But I feel like there is always a handful available. Of course, now that I say that, they'll all disappear by the time my paycheck arrives...

I just rebuilt my board.

Tuner - compressor - HPF - octaver - Big Muff.
Funny thing is, ever since I accidentally found the Muff (€40 , a bargain around here) I've been unable to build a board without it, although I haven't yet used it for anything. I assume it belongs to a future me.

Probably a dumb question but are you using the octaver for going up or down?

Well mine certainly retains the lows. But wait... What's this? Muffs have been made by different manufacturers? Shoot, I'm such a noob.
They can’t call them muffs obviously, but yes. It’s a highly cloned circuit. My favorite is the Pharaoh Supreme, though there are plenty of others worth considering.

I always really want to like Muffs - Mars Red Sky use one on bass and it sounds ace. I can never get it to sit right in my band, so have decided to (disappointingly) give up on the circuit for the foreseeable.

I lucked out and had a blend on the one I first tried. I also tend to run very mid heavy at my amp, I think that's been the trick for me to work on a mix.

I was a big muff guy until I discovered the Superfuzz.

I need to just plunk the cash down for one...I still dig big muff's, but got to try one a couple weeks back. My god was it great.

Hola amigos, rapped at ya something something doom stoner something.

REALLY going to try to call it quits after this one, kind of a bucket list bass as weird as it looks. I could never find one in black so I had to do it. It needed some help, but turned out ok.

The doom lab is pretty much ready to go now at chez cornfarmer, hopefully in the next week or 2 I can get another song done that I've been working on for a few months....between Bebé cornfarmer jr. and moving, waiting on panels to be built, then being evacuated there has been sheeeeit time to do anything. Gotta light a fire under a buddy who's working on vocal parts and then I'll have a 4 or 5 song EP thing on bandcamp done.
