I was going to suggest writing profanity laden screeds to political and religious leaders, but your suggestions are better.

Lol-Stop with your level-headed, balanced, and respectful opinions…

I think I missed the original memo, but this is America and apparently having a well balanced opinion or respecting someone else’s right to think differently about something is no longer an option anymore…

Not sure how we are ever gonna get anything done at this rate…

Just…Exhausting…

Thank God for Metal man…

I think I would’ve had a stage four epic life meltdown by now without it…

Thanks! \m/

This right here is pretty much why I can't stand many people in my own country right now. Too much screaming at others and having "balanced conversations" in echo chambers. There are times when I actively seek out different opinions because I want to see the ways in which I may have overlooked things. While only 2 parties isn't ideal in my opinion, in a perfect situation, they would both keep the other in check and accountable and striving to push each other to do better in all regards without trying to be "morally superior" through legal means. Because we all know that legality doesn't equal morality...

I have my beliefs. You have yours. They may be incredibly different. None of that means either of us is a bad person or deserves anything less than absolute respect. For instance, a co-worker of mine has pretty much the polar opposite views as I do politically, but we get along famously. We even talk politics! He gets my side, I get his, we disagree (respectfully!) and MOVE ON. We work on the common ground we have to achieve our mutual goals, which benefit us both (as well as many others!). If we could get politicians to understand this...

Alright - enough of my rant for now. Sorry, been a trying week to put it lightly, and family politics was only a small part!

In bass news, my step-father-in-law (there's a mouthful) has inherited an old Peavey T-20 bass. He doesn't know how to play, but his father - who owned a music store for many years - recently passed. He decided to keep the bass. As far as I can tell, it's basically mint except for needing a truss rod adjustment - the action is FAR too high. Hoping to be able to get it back in playable shape with him in the near future. Would be a fun little project. I hear they're solid basses, but have never actually played a Peavey instrument. I do, however, love their guitar amps.

Quiet last evening of the year. Drank wine, ate cheese, watched Pirates of the Caribbean.

I hope you all find beautiful things on your paths in 2022.

Spending your NYE like that sounds Metal AF IMO…

I was A LOT trashier than your evening…

Jammed on some Master of Puppets, ate dinner, had a shower beer, smoked a J in the basement whilst I listened to some Golden Age Of Grotesque, and surfed The Web for some adult activities…

Lit some incense & played another 45 mins of bass to some more Metallica, had some more food, watched Waterboy, some Metalocolypse, and some Robot Chicken…

Hit the bong then hit the hay…
