Yes they do, one piezo pickup per string and individual volume controls for each string. As far as I know, one of the very few larger hollowbody basses with a fully adjustable bridge that I consider to be affordable. I mainly use it to practice bass unplugged along with the music my wife streams while she gets ready for an outing, though it sounds great with the treble all the way down.

And I thank you. Sometimes I'd like to be able to add to the pedal/amp/bass dialogue, but, with my bare-bones gear set up, all I'd be able to say is something akin to: "I changed my setting on the Korg from "Kleen" to "Blues"."
Which, while it may be a shocking change to me, is not that intriguing to the rest of the planet. Lol.

FWIW, the bass was a MIJ Precision through a Fuzz War into a Wampler Faux Tape Echo. It accidentally generates some feedback at the end through my monitors, and I decided to keep it.

Here's the For Sale post from the classifieds. The only thing I did was to strip the blue off. (And while using my heat gun, melted the pickup covers a bit, totally destroyed the control cavity cover and scorched the wood in a few spots. #i'manidiot

SOLD - Custom Short Scale 30” 8 lbs! Yamaha Body Maple Neck DiMarzio J & Sperzel Gold Hardware

I've got flats (Chromes) on it, and, to my ears, it sound like "kind of" a J bass. The P/Us are wired in series to the single volume, so they act like a big humbucker with separated coils. Since I'm a tin-ear, as long as it sounds like "a bass", I'm good.

I'm happy with the "foto-flame" that's still on there. As for the sound? I think it sounds fine, and, for my humble needs, fits the bill perfectly. One thing I've noticed, and this may be confirmation bias, or ear bias, but I think it sounds really open and full due to not having any type of finish besides the wood filler on it.
