My ex-roommate from decades ago loaned me his Tri-wave Picogenerator awhile ago. I spent my Sunday fooling around with it being fed by my IdiotBox Rainbotron, accompanied by my drum machine and a bass, and had an entirely enjoyable time. I hope it evolves into something else, but if this is all I get out of it, I'm pretty happy.

Noted! Really the V is giving me a great sound, and more than enough volume… but if it wasn’t for the ridiculous efficiency of the Barefaced it wouldn’t be loud enough. Depending on the mood of my guitarists (and the fact that we’ve gone from one hard hitting drummer to maybe a more powerful one)… I’m riding that amp HARD. And, I’m also running my distortion(s) always on, so I’m really using the head mostly for power, even though it’s probably interacting with my pedalboard more than I realize. So basically, I’m probably missing out on the best part of the V-4b as it is.

I’m probably just insane and looking for a reason to spend money… but I like the idea of the extra power for more push in the bottom, and also saving myself what’s probably gonna be an expensive tube job sooner rather than later because of how hard i’m riding that amp. The extra features are secondary to the immense amount of power, but i’d probably use the graphic eq because i’m just that kind of tone geek.

Rest assured that whatever I do with the SVT-4P, i’m almost definitely keeping the V4-b!

Bass->Boss Tuner->Boss Line Selector [acting as a splitter] -> one out goes direct to bass rig, other out goes to->Mountainking Behemoth->Joyo Voodoo Octave->Superfuzz->Joyo Phaser->Wilson Effects Wah->Broughton HPF->to 'guitar' rig.
