we're like...actively trying to buy our first home in the next few weeks so I've got a bunch of money in my bank account and frankly the posting of these basses is both unfair and an assault on my marriage, so yeah , same

As someone who had to sell gear to make the down payment work for my first house a couple years ago, it it absolutely worth selling the basses. There will be other times to get the basses back or get better ones.

I got nothin, been fairly quiet at the house. Though my kids are getting more dexterous and their desire to make noises with my gear hasn't slowed down. All good things.

I'm trying to buy a new house too. Already sold my current home. Feeling the time crunch. Can't say I have much $$ in the bank. But certainly none of it is earmarked for bass stuff. Lol

I'm on house #3. First one I lost my ass on. Second, made a little money. This one, they'll drag my corpse out of.
My only real advice is, don't buy too much house. I know a lot of people who are house-poor.

we got approved for X and we're shopping at about 20-30% below X for this reason.
