Yep, I have been to firehouse a number of times. I sent them an email, hopefully they have some level of stock there so I can try out a few pedals.

Been going to opposite direction. Drinking less. Stopped Smoking in January and started vaping for nicoteen. Tailing that off now too.
A project I was involved in for the last three years is getting signed off.
Looking forward to the future after this divorce is finalized. First mediation meeting went well. Looks like I'm keeping my house. :)

Also pulled the Lumi Kramer out again last night. Still a rock on tuning and sounded good. Just too bad it's time for a refret on this neck.

Firehouse has a LOT of stomp boxes...I'd say mid-level boutique.
Certainly a cut above Guitar Center.
Another good place is RIT Music in Holland, they have as much as Firehouse, but maybe a little nicer stuff.

Also, I think that Randy Perkins (who runs RIT in Holland) has a good working relationship with John Cusack (the pedal designer, not the actor) so custom pedal consultation & design might be an option.

Geartree says they will have a Duality and a Vintage Microtubes on hand for me to try. I cant afford them new right now, but I need to know how they sound through my rig.

Haven't been on in a while... so here's some updates: I've never felt the mayhem of living in a super seasonal beach-town before, but once the weather turned this year ***** been hectic! This recent mayhem in my life is also largely due to the home buying / packing / moving process.... and THEN the work really starts. I've also been trying to get slightly less fat before I turn 30 in a few weeks, so lots of bike riding and surfing when applicable. On that note; in the past few weeks I've acquired / fixed / painted a surfboard, acquired a sweet yellow tandem bike, and cleaned up another really cool old English 3 speed..... I have more bike than I know what to do with.

In Bass News: I finally got around to swapping the bridge pickup in my Eb-3 with the Duncan SRB-1N and changing the 3 position chicken head pickup selector with a LP style switch. It has made changing pickups on the fly awesome, and the Duncan adds great growl making the bass so much more versatile. I get a deep roomy tone from the neck, a gritty high end from he bridge, and can blend them. I've actually been digging it so much that I just assembled a stripped down mini board just Vol -> Tune -> Blue beard -> meatsmoke.

Loving the Earthless meets Heavy Blanket record.... Kinda want to go see Sleep & Herb Blanket in Boston but it isn't happening. I am however planning on catching Earthless in Philly. Anyone else?

Eh, I've sorta become one lately. I only really like getting buzzed these days, not drunk, so it makes more sense to drink really tasty beer.
