this isn’t the first time I am seeing that post, but it is not often that I look at something twice in different days and still have my inner monologue go “this is sick, just sick.”
Some good times in those early threads. learnrd a ton and got to know a lot of cool people. it was ridicoulsly active, i don't know how we managed to post so much and still functioned in the real world 
. we'd have multiple discussions going on about any topic you can imagine.

Yeah, and unfortunately I don't get on the Facebook at all, so I don't really chat with anyone from then. Life goes in phases though.
This is one phase I do hope to not fully exit. Just the volume of great music being introduced that you'd likely never know about is enough to at least lurk.

Somehow I'm not surprised. If i were to hazard a guess, I think lots of the peeps are going through the same phase (family starting and whatnot) you're starting to emerge from. I know I am too, @br1qbat is just on the otherside. I gotta say I've just begun the journey back to a little more freedom.

My life in microcosm. Lol. Spent Saturday hanging out all day and playing a 'Stoner Fest' that another band set up for 420. Spent all day Sunday doing dad poopie - vacuuming the cars, mowing the lawn, etc. It's all about balance. And having a wife that's amazing so I can get away to do fun poopie once or twice a month.
As mentioned I have a particular interest in early 70's rock. Especially the heavier variety. I had Bang's single 'Questions' in my 70's rock folder, and I notice per Wiki that the band is considered proto doomy. Questions doesn't sound like it to me, but I think this song does as it get's going. Encourage anyone who likes the subject matter of this thread to dig around in the early 70's. You don't have to have been a baby boomer to do so.
Actually in the early 70's itself in Ozzieland, I was in a scene that was California sound centred e.g Eagles, America etc. Surfie culture. So called 'westies' were the ones into ACDC. Tempers ran hot about which camp you were in those days. Only much later have I revisited the early 70's rock, that I wasn't listening to much back then or I was too whacked out to notice he he
