Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread, Part 90: Maxed Out

LOL. I googled that too. Although my Google is a little less suggestive. Makes me wonder what's in your search history.

:whistle:

Though I did pick the most extreme example, but it's Australia? Maybe when it's hot there that really hits the spot?

Personally I'd wear a boxer and a undershirt. 110F probably probably isn't as hot as it can be there though.

Today is like Christmas and my birthday.

That is a great looking board man.

As per splits, I have one in the works for Galactic Hatchet already, with another bass and drum duo in wisoconsin, well each put one song in and then do a song as a double bass, double drum quo.

And then there's the split that will eventually happen with Niffs band at some point. My brother from another mother down under.

Been jamming to some Windhand/Curse the Son style stuff with some guys recently, hopefully it will actually turn into a functioning band. Here's the rig I've been using.

I bet that hovercraft sounds great, how does it do keeping up while jamming? I can see that being an awesome rig if the guys youre jamming with are only using smaller combos.

Less suggestive?
With a rapey look like that, I don't know....

How you like that old Mark with the new cab?
@CL400Peavey

I had just got done beating my biggest rival in my high school conference. Was a little high on adrenaline.

I love the Mark VIII. Sounds killer through all my cabs. Use able eq, good compressor. Chorus is good if that's your thing. Cross over for bi-amping if you want to use a second amp.

The thing I love about all peavey amps is they don't way over rate their power. This is 350 watts @4 ohms. Loud as balls, and doesn't puss out when you dig in.

It's actually quite loud with this big cab, the guitarist is using an OR15 through a 212 so that helps too. It sounds incredible, better with guitar though, but still great.
