That's what I was thinking. The motors alone are like $160-$225 plus shipping online.

Really good Galactic Hatchet practice last night, went way better than our first. Got one song basically down riff wise and I introduced him to my Om tribute jam, being a lover of Om, he knew exactly what I was looking for drum wise. This project is going to be really fun me thinks, the drummer is a good friend and a bassist of another local band. Since were both bassists, were both on the same page on stuff. And were both writing the riffs, so it'll be cool to take another bassists riffs and meld them with my style and make them my own.

Quick question guys, What going to give me a bigger sound out of running a 1x15 or a 4x10 when playing stoner and heavy rock music? I do play in standard tunning but play alot of c standard tunning too. I like a big dirty bass sound as oposed to a super clean sound. Also saying that, Can you run 2 1x15 or wold I be better with two 4x10's or just go straight for a 8X10 fridge?

Depends on which 4x10s and which 115s. Also depends on amp.
I like 215s but generally most 810s louder.
Heavy music has been played on all kinds. What's your budget? What do you have to transport said cabs?
