Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread, Part 90: Maxed Out

I stay out of OT. I can handle amps, some times, but OT/Band management is a cesspool.

I rarely venture beyond this thread and Effects forum.

Had a great weekend with bunch of friends. Lots of alcohol and very bad movies for 3 days. On the bad side, almost cracked my head open. In the end no stitches were necessary, but I'm gonna have a nice scar on my balding head.

Plus side is you can tell new people that you aren't really bald, that the incident causes the scarring so bad you falsely appear to be bald.

What movies?
Also, you must share the shenanigans, and post a pic. No pic, no traumatic head wound. You know the rules.

A morning stroll while swearing a constant stream of invective is nice.
The guy running the dump was nice and gave me a jump twice, but it kept dying so I was too embarrassed to ask again and figured I would need more jumps along the way home. The convenient store at the corner had a phone box with no phone so yeah some razzlin frazzin frickin frackin was involved LOL. But it was really a short stroll and not like I don't need the exercise LOL.

Speaking of movies. Lizzie Borden Took an Axe is on Netflix instant. Good movie and damn Christina Ricci is a sexy little front seater.

Nothing really traumatic, we were sitting in an unfinished gazebo and I sort of walked into one of protruding planks and ripped open my scalp for like 2 inches. Lots of blood, a little bit of pain and a lot of panic from the ladies present :D Had a rudimentary dressing made from a ladies panty liner and a reusable diaper, so I looked a bit ridiculous. No pictures though, nobody took any in this chaos and blood :D

As for the movies, I've got a buddy who's obsessed with really bad cinema and he loves to show his findings when everybody is wasted. We had some Philippine cult "classic" called The Killing of Satan, a very bad 70's Canadian disco musical called "The Apple" and a Japanese monster/superhero classic from 1975 called The Super Inframan.

Speaking of cars, spent the whole weekend doing research. Finally settled on the 2015 WRX, got real excited about it, then found out all local dealerships are sold out, and if I custom ordered one it would be here in 5 months. Poop. So now I'm looking at Optimas and probably the Fusions.

You can't find a WRX even remotely close by? I'm a Subaru nerd and the WRX would be a fantastic car. Definitely worth going a little out of your way to get.
