Yeah, that sounds awkward alright.
I think someone just tried to scam me on Kijiji?
They kept wanting to pay me via a cashiers check when I wanted cash and asking for a bunch of personal info.
Get lost jerk.
Never tried one of those. What's the EQ like?Sounds good Sam!
By the way, you or one of the other Canadians here needs to buy the thing so I can stop pining for it.

If she's cocky, she'll at least have enough confidence I guess.Going to watch this friend of mines stand up tonight, hope it goes well. I only recently started hanging with her. She seems really cocky about her set so I hope it's easy to laugh at. I'd feel terrible faking laughing solo in an audience.
I generally don't use a term that someone who the term refers to informs is a slur. I just don't do it. Even if it would be funny. Humor, to me, isn't worth pooping on people that society already ***** on enough.I guess on the what's right to call people stuff. Part of my thinking is the terms we call people are generally used to describe people to others for a particular description of them. I don't just call my gay friends gay, they have names. So I'd never walk up to a transvestite and call them that as a qualifier to get their attention. But if that transvestite gets in a fight with a xenophobic man from Kuwait I'll use the descriptors to inform others of the event as humorously as possible.
Perhaps tranny is wrong, but stuff like that's on the individual I find to truly get offended or not and the situation. Intent and inflection (which the internet loses a bit) go a long way into determining how offensive something is. I'll watch myself in the future, but like I said qualifiers are mainly used by me to tell someone else a detail, not talk to a person directly. If the transvestite/genderqueer/drag whatever ambiguous person wants me to call/describe/refer to them as something they usually tell me so with great gusto and pride. It's par for the course, I imagine, as they know they are different, and want to let you know what's up. And that is the best way (to me) to determine how to refer to anyone, out of respect. Most anyone who identify themselves a particular way other than straight I've met are pretty chill though. They get bullied and picked on enough, they don't waste more time getting offended by the people who mean well so they correct or alert you ahead of time if they feel the need to.
I have met people who seemingly want to be offended and have it out. I simply avoid them, as they aren't looking to educate or be helpful, they just want to lash out at the world.
I dunno, there was this one chick doing stand up who I thought was hilarious and also very cute... but she was a lesbian. So I'd guess if she isn't hot she might be funny.
Hot chicks make terrible stand up comics.
Mildly frumpy girls are damn funny.
Nature has rules.
That is possibly not the best way to go about doing what he's trying to do. Not the best with communication, is he?She should use that bit lol.
Nah my friend is nearly 10 years older than me and still a bachelor and does the dating site thing. Nothing wrong with that, but he tends to decide most are just friends but then doesn't say anything to that affect and let's the girl keep acting touchy/flirty. So those that don't catch on get kinda mad. I think he thinks by quickly introducing a girl to his friends it's like saying we just friends, but I'm pretty sure the majority think he's trying to share his life with them.
Nothing is more awkward than when he tells me we are going to meet one of his friends and we get wherever and it's some girl expecting a date and I'm riding shotgun. I've since told him not to do that as it's not fun for anyone but him.
Ugh, shag scammers.I think someone just tried to scam me on Kijiji?

Does Kijiji mean something?
Ugh, **** scammers.
I remember when I was trying to sell my old bass amp, dude sent me a giant check from a nonexistent bank. His poor communication he blamed on being deaf. My reaction, obviously, was "so why are you trying to buy a bass amp, then, jackass?"

Sarah Silverman is hit or miss for me. Some of her stuff is hilarious, some is just gross and not very funny.Sarah Silverman is cute, but can get annoying.
He's not from America and a PHd so while I understand him fine, some things he'll say and do are kinda out their, and you can tell he's lived the 3rd world life. He once flicked a bunch of roaches off some food and tried to offer it to me...
Lol he was planning on enjoying the low end rumble and you took that from him. This one guy didn't scam me, but he had like cerebral palsy and was all sorts of afflicted. He came to buy my peavey Windsor head and said I can't play, will you play it to prove it works. Then I sell it to him and he says it's a backup for his jcm800 full stack. Didn't want to be a dick but I'm really curious what he needs either amp for if he can't play.
WOOT WOOTFree record player day, guys I'm a vinyl guy now. But my rule to myself is I can only get cheap stuff that's odd and is probably not found elsewhere or just good deals. Maybe $5 tops. So far I have like 40 vinyls and only spent around $8-$10..
NENA 99LUFTBALLONS time!

Lmao, that's amazing.Who cares what he needs it for if he's got money. I once sold a muscle car to a guy that was too fat to sit behind the wheel. I had to drive him around on the test drive, then drive the car to his house. His wife gave me a ride home, pissing and moaning the whole time because he bought the car without telling her and he had half a dozen rusted heaps in the yard.
Psh, EQ options. Who needs those?View attachment 456837 Stand! by Sly and the family stone

Lipp Sinc funky town lol
Man there's some decent albums in this stack of free stuff.
My rigs ghetto and offers no volume or EQ options. Is that cool though? It comes out as intended? Or should I rig up my Demeter pre Instead and have tubes and control?
Hell yeah. I actually like the way beat-up Ampeg fridge cabs look.Found a local Ampeg 8x10 I'm gonna pick up on the 15th for 275, it's in rough shape but all the speakers look good, might swap em out for my eminence legends still have though, love how they sound. Just need a good a/b switch.
I think you might need a cheap phono preamp, to get the right (RIAA) eq.View attachment 456837 Stand! by Sly and the family stone
