Oh boy. I rec'd a PM from a fellow on Reverb saying he's interested in my RE-20 Space Echo but he can't afford it. Since he plays in a church band he want to know if I'll donate it or sell it at a steep discount. Uh, no.

So do I a) give a no reply, b) give a simple no thank you or c) do I dial him up for a written equivalent of a Stone Cold Stunner?

My life's been poopy this week; work sucks, I'm sick and can't get away from work. I'm inclined to vent on this sap. Thoughts?

:hyper:

I thought this was America, to hell with your dry counties.

Wisconsin small towns usually have more bars than churches, the UW serves beer at the Student Union (even brews its own), I can think of a dozen bars within walking distance of my house, 3 of those are microbreweries. There's over a dozen microbreweries in town total (300k people), I can't even count the number of microbreweries in the state. The liquor store at the neighborhood grocery store is the size of an entire small grocery store. I love Wisconsin.

Yup.

A glimpse at the future Max?

I assume (hope) the dudes got money and just has no rush to sell his stuff. Otherwise he's kinda making it hard on himself. He saturates the market with ads with no pictures few details and a crazy prices like $350 firm for a peavey 1x15. Then anyone else can sell at a normal asking price with a picture and get it gone.

Yup.

And my bank reimburses me for them.

I doubt they are going to reimburse you $10 for taking $20 out. Those fees are not charged by a bank. They are service fees from the company offering the ATM.

What Church needs a Space Echo?

Plug a mic into it for RIGHTEOUS VOICE OF GOD EFFECTS?

Seriously though, churches spend ridiculous amounts of money on poopie that I'd never imagine going into a church. Strobe lights, colored lights, fog machines, top-dollar mixers and PA systems, broadcast-grade video equipment, video walls, you name it. A significant portion of my company's customers are houses of worship. The donations pour in, and a lot of that money is spent on flashy bullsh*t.
