Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread, Part 90: Maxed Out

Yar, workin' and stuff. Need to replace my bicycle's rear wheel tonight so I can start taking it to work next week. Chain slipped between the gear and the spokes and ripped some spokes out. Unfortunately will probably have to pay a bike shop to change over the cassette. Balls.

Once done though, I got the motor affixed along with the clutch and throttle controls, so I should be good to go!

Looks like the calls are starting to ramp up a little bit as the weather changes, so I'm probably going to become a Sasquatch, only seen momentarily on occasion, but I'll try to catch up on the weekends.
I'll stay around as long as I can but the winter is a-coming.
Also, Dozicus, don't be a drunken fool, yo.

I thought spring was worse, too but I heard a few people talking about the sky-high pollen count today. Couple that with the worst allergy symptoms I've ever had and I'm inclined to believe them. Not sure what's bothering me, but my symptoms are barely responding to medication and the entire inside of my head is itchy.

Found three nice looking bikes in classifieds, $100 for all 3. One is a pretty old Schwinn in nice condition. Might get em, sell one, and give one to the wife. Beats spending $35 for a wheel, $15-20 for them to swap the cassette over, plus my wife needs a bike anyways.

Not to mention, that Schwinn with a motor on it... mmmmm....

3 days of 15% off accessories at musicians friend, starts today. Perfect time to grab cables, picks, and strings... unless you want a Red single B string. Then it's 12$ plus 6.95 shipping... At just strings

I bought these infinity steels for mega cheap before we started tuning in b. Now I need a red b string and the cheapest I can find is at just strings. The single cost as much as the 4 set... So I'm back to looking at the flexsteels. Hope they are still on a deal when I can finally scrape up $14.

s'up doomers, work is crazy busy. there is so much work being assigned that nothing gets done and no one notices because they're too busy find more stuff to do....complete insanity. i don't know how we're going to survive this conversion..

this came in today. pretty cool pedal, still have no idea how to incorporate delay into our music but at least it as tap tempo which makes things easier for me.

very well built but not worth the regular retail price, not too bad for the sale price i got though.

Yup same problem with me and delays...never know what to exactly do with it but the tap tempo on the Echo shifter makes it a bit easier. And build quality is the one thing that's iffy about it, not that its bad but it just feels not as solid as I'd like especially if ill be stomping out a tempo on it.

had to get a gear consignment check and take a nap
1 am police copter flying over my house for 15 minutes, dogs and gf are freaking out
530 am gf's alarm goes off for ten minutes until i finally find it in the kitchen underneath an oven mitt
is it any wonder i sleep in my air conditioned art studio on my ikea futon between classes when i'm supposed to be making stuff?

talking to Alex Avedissian about a custom wound/magnet replaced Seymour Duncan SRB-1N neck pickup for my 4001, looking to boost the low end (super lows and mids) for the bass side of the stereo rig. includes the removal of that ugly logo. should be interesting!
