Nothing but food to post about. Fun weekend, my Mom and Aunt showed up in VA for a surprise visit and brought me some fried pizza from back home. And here are some pics for Ender.
Today I made the worst pot of coffee in the history of horrible, weakass pots of coffee.

It's a super light dough, with stewed tomatoes as the sauce, it is still baked but they fry off the bottom to make it crispy on the bottom somehow. It is super super greasy but oh so yummy. I don't know anywhere else you can get it other than Northeast PA, so not sure if it came from Italy or the Italian immigrants tweaked Sicilian style pizza into this kind in the 1950's when the restaurant Victory Pig that makes it opened up in the valley.
The place they got them from steams them with Chesapeake Bay(Old Bay) seasoning and then dumps more on. I believe the place the father-in-law bought two bushels from actually catches them and does the steaming all in one. Or gets them from local fisherman and prepares them for the customers, either way they were locally caught. Old Bay is good on French fries too!
It is when several million motorists panic and don't know how to drive on a wet (damp?) road. That poopie is scary. I've witnessed it in LA - it seems like common sense to slow down a little and take your time, but I guess it isn't.

Got a call this morning that I got the job with the Fortune 500 company, kinda surprised me as I was supposed to hear back tomorrow after they completed interviews.
I'll start Monday and have to wake up early early sadly. Good news is I can wear whatever I want in the office.

Cool score Max. I picked up an '80 MIJ guitar this weekend, since I don't have anything for writing in standard tuning (or anything but B). Really digging it, the stock pickups have a Dimarzio Super Distortion kinda tone to them. I don't play guitar that much anymore, but I really like this one.

Now THAT is a nice guitar! I dig the half SG/Half LP/Double-cut, kinda-looks-like-an-offset-body shape. The grain and burst paintjob is killer too. Nice score!

Man this weekend was a blur.
Went to my cousin's wedding Friday night, up way too late drinking. Saturday we had a show out of town, didnt get back home until almost 4am. Up early Sunday to pull my dad's pontoon boat out, and I had to pull the outboard motor off, and do the standard oil change/lower unit doping/winterization. Last night I dove over to Detroit to see the shack shakers. Great show, and hang out with Mark. Headed home. Sent my boss an email at 3:30 telling her that I was not coming in until noon today.
