Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread, Part 90: Maxed Out

Try to play with it before you go on stage at volume . It may sound good low but then you turn up and start farting. For a rig like that to be balanced will you need time with the band to make sure it's what you need. For the board if I hear you right you have a Blower Box. That going to the board and hose will sound thick and you could keep your stage rig cleaner.
Yup.

It's how he wants it. Last time we talked about it I just rolled my eyes...Like, your on borrowed time brother. Least there is usually someone to help with a backup.

I really want a Tube head but I really don't need this drama just before a set.
Eh, the only drama I've ever dealt with, with my tube head, is its tubes eventually going microphonic, and that was with the ones it had when I bought it. The Sovteks in there now have been pretty solid.

Then again, Mesas with fixed bias actually run a bit cold, I've heard.

Yes, this would be ideal. I am not sure it is a possibility though. I am assuming autocorrect/typo, but what do you mean by the last sentence?

Maybe I should nix the Eden and just run the two cabs stereo for the time being.

Typo...hose=house.
If you have the choice of dirt to the house or clean? I'd choose dirt to the house and run clean ish to my stage amp.
Try not to over complicate your signal chain unless your comfortable with it.
I was pulling my hair out for a while during practice. Would have a great over all tone. Go to practice and need to turn up a little more to compete with the drums, Guitar and PA, FART.

Yeah. I hear you there. I think I should have enough juice to be heard without the farts. I would like to run 2 amps, but the more I think about it the more I think I should run my chain to the 4 pro and just run it in stereo with both cabs. I am fairly certain each side of the 4 pro can run at 2 ohms so I could potentially still do all of the speakers

Also I got the 10000 ways point. Thats why I am asking for assistance. I don't have the time or resources this week to attempt some of those methods. I do appreciate the input, just looking for opinions/ideas/EQ ideas to help me find a starting point in a pinch.

Sometimes there are more important things. Like the last bit of my daughters birthday cake.

I think I might get suspended over some comments in band management.
I'm annoyed and can't let it go.

Saw the thread and while i agree with what you're saying, to me it's just not worth the time or energy to be upset about it. It's a sixteen year old kid posting dumb poopie on the internet.

IMO, YMMV and all that. I think you're a good dude and I'm glad you post here.
