I saw that, meh.
This seems like a decent local deal on a MIM P. Thoughts?

Reminds me a bit of 35007 and Husky
Someone already shot this idea down but I thought it was a decent one. How would you guys feel about a classic dirt circuit re-imagined with tube gain stages. Like a Rat but made with tube gain stages. Is the novelty of using tubes ruined if it still uses diode clipping? I don't have time to breadboard as much anymore so I like to just day dream about pedal ideas. I think the tubes would generate less high frequency distortion but I can't guarantee it'll sound loads better than a stock Rat. But my main issue is whether or not it would be worth it to deal with unique power requirements just for a slightly warmer tone.
In other words is the added cost and difficulty of powering tube effects worth the 5% of gains in tone???
No clue on "is it worth it". But, I like the idea of a tube rat. I imagine it would be out of my budget. Which is zero right now.Someone already shot this idea down but I thought it was a decent one. , saw your coming in town with the shackshakers. I going to try to make it this time
helps it's a Friday so that's a big bonus. Hard to make it to shows when I work the next day.
