Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread, Part 90: Maxed Out

Since I took today off, to recover from working a home show all weekend, I had the time to make some quick demo clips of my new bass. One "clean" clip and some with the Joyo Ultimate Drive, Wren & Cuff Pickle Pie B, Dunwich Volt Thrower and Dunwich Cthulhu Fuzz. Pretty much just picked my top of the heap dirt pedals for bass right now. Thought about doing the Wizard Fuzz as well, but I use it more for guitar and like the thick fuzz of the Cthulhu more.

Mos Def the Cthulhu fuzz.

Just listened at work a coworker just said all of them sounds like farting to a beat. Haha

Country fried steak and eggs Benedict... So good.

Trying to write lyrics for a new song to play at the Jucifer show.

We got stickers coming!

What do you dudes think? I want to "release" 3 of our songs for digital download on the bandcamp site, to try and make money for vinyl. Then we release the vinyl and CD full length. Is that sensical? The shirts are selling like dirt in the Sahara. Got to think of new ways to generate flow.

I did not demo it much myself after making sure it works but I definitely liked it much more than Ver1. The added mid control is nice and the EQ works much better now that is has increased headroom. Simplified the FAC idea to a 3 way cut and also simpler clipping switch. Very nice compliment to the volt thrower, and may offer some special 1590DDs with VT and ODB in one thing

So... when does the preorder start, and how much money can I give you. ;)

Any Yamaha love on here. I should of never picked up that Yamaha Attitude pj fiver. There is a BB525X pj fiver, black with a flat black pickguard, in the classifieds giving me terrible gas.

I have a BB614 Fretless that just became my main bass after years of languishing on the sidelines. Picked it up as a B stock blow out, want to replace the pre-amp at some point, but it is a very solid playing bass, and sounds very good. Though frankly I will upgrade in the next year if this project becomes more viable, probably to a G&L.
