Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread, Part 90: Maxed Out

A middle aged guy in a bomber jacket and aviator sunglasses just came into my office, trying to sell me black market steaks.

Should have tried to to sell some bs to him.

Damn. I can't afford any of it. Last beer I had was the free highlife on tap provided for playing the Jucifer show. I could kill for a nice stout right about now.

Time to google pruno.

...or be a man and start with Jenkem.

I had fun with a girl hanging around my place last night, and it didn't stop there and all was well.

Skipping details etc. she said she never expected that I'd even had a thing for her, and during different times, she would look into my eyes and say I can't see anything, what are you thinking?

It's not the first time someone in bed or out of bed had has said something to that effect.

What is or isnt in my eyes? And why does everything get weirded out but not enough to leave?

You're actually a vampire.

So...what is you most "can't live without" peace of gear?

I like my new Mesa 2x15. My Hartke is passable. I have some decent basses. I have a poopie load of pedals (but not enough "good" ones) and I'm looking for something else to help spice up my tone.

I have been looking at compressors/limiters but I haven't found the right one yet.

Dirt pedal suggestions are always encouraged.

I feel like I could make a lot of things work, so I don't get too sentimental about gear. I will say my Reiner 6SL7 pre (for electric), my Pope MPP2 pre (for upright), my Greenboy F212 and my sealed 1822 cabs. Those are all pretty great pieces.

I like all of my main basses;

1948 Epiphone B4 upright
Blast Cult upright
1982 Gibson G3
1983 Peavey T-40
AM STD Fender P
Drake custom 35" scale
Dingwall Super J/P4
First Act custom shop hollowbody

Conjunctivitis?

I know it's super new and you already have the landmark but you should check out the "dug" amp from tech21
