yeah they released a fake album for review because they knew the reviewers would leak it - and rate it badly - now I believe the real one is out.

Yeah, OMG released a fake record to the press for them to leak, apparently it's got parts of the actual album on there, but other stuff as well.
But then there are actually 2 legit new records both called Ape of God. You know, to make things confusing.
In total there are technically 3 albums called Ape of God by them out now, the two legit ones that came out this week, and the press leaked version, which in theory is only in download format.

it was hilarious to see how whiny the people were who reviewed the leaked versions....and then see the band make fun of them
yeah, but they likely won't review them again. I really don't see the point they are trying to get across.

That's kind of their whole thing, they don't care and like to mess with people. Plus with all the bands those dudes have been in, it's pretty likely people are gonna buy their records even if there aren't real reviews of them out there. I know I'll be grabbing both copies.
Jesus, we wrote a ridiculously insane barn burner song out of nowhere last night. I think our band is already hard enough to pigeon hole into one genre, but I don't even know how to begin to describe this song. There's some punk, hardcore, what I would maybe call math rock? And even some speed metal in there. I think the thing I enjoy most about writing new Supervoid songs is how we're able to combine a bunch of influences that normally probably wouldn't go together very well and make it something awesome.
Haha, I'm afraid to even read some of the replies. Some of the things on that list are obvious, and some are just dumb.
Hell yeah, and if someone is going to dismiss my band because I'm wearing them on stage, I don't want them listening to my shaging music anyways!Dont you wear flip flops and cargo shorts?

I figured there were contradictions on the list. "Looks over sound" right next to "Dont wear ****."
Kind of negates the credibility of the list.
Crap, yesterday I actually took a sick day for the first time this year. I was too dizzy to stand up. Feel a little worse today, but I'm not dizzy anymore so I felt ok to drive in to work. Now I'm just waiting for a much needed coffee delivery.

Kind of nervous about going to New Mexico. My back is complete garbage and I need a certain medicine in order to sleep. Not sure I'll ever reach wino status. I heard the control cavity is the best place to stash. If course having Colorado plates will immediately get us pulled over. Apparently all bordering stated are pulling over just about anyone with Colorado tags. Maybe an out of state uhaul van is in order?
I had the chance to open for them in July, and the clips I've heard of the Tech 21 amp sound amazingly like his live sound.
Which means they actually sound like swishy ass until the guitars and drums come in. Its set up to have the high end phaseyness of the old overdriven 12 strings, with mostly super duper lows, so on its own, its not at all appealing.
