Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread, Part 90: Maxed Out

Ric for Vega, Matsumoku P for GH. The full rig is 3 heads into 4 fridges. The Vulcan goes into my 218 with my old 70s full range PA 18s, that is my tone, everything else is just supporting that tone. If I could only bring one head and cab to a gig, that would be it. Thats run straight in, besides a tuner and an aby. The bass goes into the Hi input and then out from the Lo input, old school daisy chaining, I go into the PA200 which will be running the folded 18 whenever I get my BW fixed. That is my clean bass "blend knob" stack, just there for some constant clean low end and the folded makes it more roomy than a direct sound. That is also the first stack to not go if space is an issue. Those 2 amps and cabs form the A side of the aby. The B side is my pedals into my dunwich preamp into the 800 Booster into the 810 and the 218+210. If space is still a issue I'll drop one of the cabs. I've been choosingto take the 810 recently. That is where I have my fun with effects and more fuzz for more heavy. The cabs are all about the bass, no treble...yup i just did that...the 810 does the low mid thump and the 210+218 goes down to like 27hz or something ridiculous like that for the dub. I certain don't NEED this stack but it adds DOOM. The Vulcan stack and the one cab on the dunwich/booster stack is my Vega rig.

250, the muscian is 300 so that might be why the Vulcan is a bit dirtier.
i have a bass standard and the harmonic distortion is really great sounding, and it blends with the clean signal.
Like a standard 260? Loved mine. It was my first SS Peavey.

I picked up Rust in Peace Live from a discount bin a long time ago...I prefer it to the regular version, plus there's a set of non-RIP material at the end.
I've seen Slayer twice, Anthrax once and Metallica twice. Would like to catch Megadeth at some point.
I saw Megadeth once, on the Youthanasia tour. They opened with "Holy Wars". F-ing awesome.
The opener on that tour? Stone Temple Frickin Pilots. Picture that happening in 2014. 1993 was a weird time.

That was the last album of theirs that I listened to. I heard Risk when I working at a record store. Garbage.
Spotted Dave Mustaine at NAMM last year, but I was hurrying to a meeting so I didn't get the chance to kick him in the balls. Maybe this year.
