Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread, Part 90: Maxed Out

They really got past the whole "Bob is an alcoholic, that's only sober until he can find some booze" thing fast. When they revealed that it really made me think, having an addiction to something sedative would be such a huge liability in the zombie apocalypse. Not a great idea to get blotto in that world, I don't know any of them would ever be able to even fall all the way asleep. Unless they're locked in a bunker and even that doesn't seem foolproof at this point in the show.

Hopefully they give Sasha something to do in future episodes. So far she's just reactive to other characters. She's Tyrese's sister and he's worried about her. She's sick and Carol wants to get rid of her. She's in love with Bob and of course it's going to end in tears. Hopefully they give her some kind of strong point of view or direction moving forward that isn't just "cold badass with nothing to lose" or "trying desperately not to lose that last connection to humanity", because there's a lot of that. I do totally believe there's a place for characters that exist only to hitch their wagon to someone else (Eugene, so far), since that's definitely a real trait in people, but there's a limit to how much I want to see of them for entertainment purposes.
