That's the kind you don't let get away. The only thing I wish my wife could understand is the concept of gear prices. Because I bought blah at X amount, shouldn't they all cost that much? Real life example. SX bass. Got one of the $120 specials a long time ago and sold it. Several years later while looking for light weight basses, at this point feeling hopeless. Every bass I found was in the $1k plus region. She didn't get it. Why do they cost so much? No matter what analogy I used, it didn't make sense to her. I don't even talk about stuff I want anymore. She doesn't understand the price and we are too broke now for extra purchases anyway.
Almost did a toy drive gig, but drummer had prior obligations. Trying to get one more show before the end of the year. Going to have a band meeting for album art soon. Any of you guys interested in vinyl? I'll make an official announcement as we get closer. I think we will do a sticker, button, shirt package deal since we just got stickers and buttons recently.
Caught All Them Witches a while back. They're awesome live. Really poor turnout. Hope they comeback... But I got to play dice with them before they played. Very nice down to earth guys. Bassist/vox Michael was sharing an old acoustic rig. But got a gear pic. Pretty stripped down setup.

got a yellow DOD for the top end at the moment, nice and defined but gets a bit washed out by the low end. might consider an OCD for this band.

Just picked up a replacement basket for my blown BW for $20 from an old blues bassist who pretty much strained his back just looking at a picture of my peavey stacks.

Who were they with? When they played here with Windhand they killed it. One of the best bands I've seen in awhile, up there with Truckfighters, Red Fang, etc but in a much different way.
Yup they stole the whole show for me when we played on that bill. Except they were no where to be found before or after their set, thought that was a bit wierd. I wanted to meet the bass/vox guy and talk Rics.
Theyre playing milwaukee again in feb, rmtryin hard to get on that bill.
Adam Faucett and the tall grass. They were really good too. Singer had an insane voice. Crazy powerful and soulful.

Ruger 50th anniversary 10/22 acquired. Wood stock and blued finish.
Also filed and fit the nut for the guitar I got and tuned it to A with a .70-.11 set.
Jaguar wiring next and my standard tuning strat needs fixing.

It had messed up speakers.
As for getting it back. It got hit by a fork lift or something while being repaired so idk...

Have a meeting with the new VP today, so I couldnt stay home, and I had to wear "business casual". Dont they know it is a fuqing artic sh!t storm out there? Freezing my ass off.
