Man a great gear sundering of stuff I never bothered to sell very hard. Probably 20 listings or more. Basses, amps, pedals, cabs, cases etc.
I want a class D power amp. Any suggestions. Not looking to break the bank just decently loud and reliable. Needs two sides one will be run at 8 ohms into the bassic and the other 4 ohms into the dually. So wattage appropriate.
What's wrong with the power amp that you have?
To answer your question: latest generation of peavey ipr series.
Eff you Christmas. Was moving stuff to make room for the Christmas tree and had to move a terrarium. Well it was heavy and like a fool I didn't wait for the ol lady to help me. So I was lifting the top so I could get under the bottom and the plastic trim pops off and it slams down and smashes. A large piece sliced about a four inch slit in my left leg inside my knee. Not bad enough for stitches unless for cosmetic reasons to not have a big arse scar. Yeah FN Christmas....
This is one of the more polished records they have in the catalog. Des is a beast on the kit. Jeff is no slouch. He uses a pick why can't you? FROST HAMMER!I don't know about you guys, but Snakes for the Divine may be the perfect song for my musical taste. Maybe not perfect but close. I can't help but bang my head the whole song. Now if only I could get my fingers humming that fast for that long.

It's good to keep an open option there depending on the riff. We have been trying to keep our song tempo consistent. Failing on some cases. I either have to uise a pick or if we can keep the temp from floating I can focus more on using fingers more often. I'm leaning that way since I can add several more dynamics that a pick limits. It's all about what the riff needs. I also need a fall back option in case I do drop a pick mid song.I am worthless with a pick for anything fast and my endurance is weak sauce. I couldn't play guitar to save my life either. Fingers and four feel just right though.
I should practice with a pick more I guess.
Art of Self Defense by far for me.
For sure different flavors of a similar groove. That's still my favorite album of theirs as well. Surrounded by thieves is in second place, then the rest. I really dig the murky, muddy, resin-crusted sounds of the first two albums over the cleaner, tighter later albums.
Going to see that show next week. Pretty thrilled, got time off work hotel room and all. Like a mini vacation midweek.Last day of my vacation week (that's why I haven't been on that much). I had some quality time with the little slobber monster this morning, now I'm heading out to Sacramento to hang out with my buddy and go see Down, Orange Goblin and Bl'ast tonight.
