Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread, Part 90: Maxed Out

kinda pissed right now.
There was a bass here I wanted a while back and didnt have the cash in time. I asked the buyer that if he ever passed it on I would appreciate him giving me the heads up and I would most likely snag it.
well yesterday he hits me up about it and offers it to me. I said give me a little bit to think, I just bought a bass, but damn... I want it. So a few hours later, while Im at work he sends me a new better price if I was inclined to a "fast decision" and that he was "thinking about" listing it for sale. I get home from work, and send him a message with a few basic questions and that they were all I needed to know to say " yes Ill take it." I had stopped by the bank and put in the cash. I never hear back. I contact him this morning and get a "the bass sold yesterday".. REALLY??? why the hell give me the heads up if youre actually gonna list it and sell it out from under me before I get home from work. Maybe he meant "in the next 10 minutes" instead of "today" when he said a "fast decision" and "thinking about" listing it meant "Im hitting the post button right now". I know the dude didnt owe it to me or anything, its just a crap way to handle it..
ok... grumpy pants are going back in the drawer for a while.

Its really kind of difficult to photograph bread in a way that shows off the fine details with a cellphone. These are 5 of 200 that look almost identical. Consistency is key in what I do. They are light in color because all of the baguettes I make are parbake fresh frozen. Its just flour, water, yeast and salt.

I also included pics of my pretzel squares and another bun that we produce. The last pic is actually one of my favorite breads that we make. Its like a richer pretzel dough that doesn't get hit with lye.

Eff that! We made a guy that had his hand slip working on high voltage lines... He literally cooked both his arms to the elbow and blew out his hands. Plus it put him into SVT. We had to shock him to slow his heart down and give him ALL the pain meds. I've got a pretty good constitution but that was gnarly to see. And as a musician and lover of my hands and fingers, terrifying.

+1 there is a guy in dallas without a face for similar reasons.

Low voltage meaning network infrastructure... I tell electricians were to drop outlets and how to get there without impacting systems with EMI.

Fixed.
I used to be one of those kinds of electricians. Used to do isolated data grounds too. Rather drive the grounds than EMI free data cables. Might have been more labor but it was once and some.
I did this in chemical plants, nothing was EMI free, some stuff just had slightly less interference.

It's a fat neck. I like this one. The only item that bugs me is strap button position under the horn tends to shove the position forward.
I'm considering building a new body for mine. Similar issues with strap position after PO hacked up the body and refinished.
