Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread Part Ten - What is this thread about again?

Thats cuz Pburghers have rust powder and steel mill residue in their bloodstream. You can't take a sip of water or a breath of air without absorbing it. It weighs down your circulation and heavy sludgy riffs are the only thing that gets the blood pumping again.

And from what I have seen, people around here really like their herb. Can't believe its not medi-legal yet.

If Black Sabbath was born of Birmingham's steel plants, I can't imagine what badass bands are coming from Pburg. (atleast in theory :p)

For cabs, I ran across a company called Atlas. But, they never answer their emails. It took 3 weeks to get a price from them. The Old Crow Cabs that were recommended to me looked really cool.

I can't not look at cabinets called "Olde Crow"!

If I had the coin and the back for it, I would own those. Out of all the Wood finished looking cabs out there, Olde Crow looks the coolest IMO.

My dream rig is still 2-2x15" cabs. Too bad I couldn't lift them. And no, I am not trying to pay more than a grand for the dually. But you guys totally should :D

I should be getting my Dually in a couple weeks I think. I got the Duratex in Lucky Green. If I really like the SVT-7 Pro when it shows up, I think I might get one of these in Emerald Green [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

BTW here's an actual picture of the Guild I'm interested in:

Well, I really liked the way it sounds with the current pickup. I also have to buy it first ;)

They won't let you start modding it while its still in their possession? Don't they know how us bassists roll? You'd think with a 20% downpayment, you could at least defret it and change the pups. Maybe even a refinish.

I want the passive sounds from a L2000 pup in one of my basses, but I dont want a new bass. Maybe carve one into the bridge position on my Ibby P? Talk about starting unnecessary and difficult projects..... it'd take me years to wrap that up.
