Hey anyone here want to trade a fuzz/Dirt pedal for my SFT? I've had my fun with it and ready for something else
After this semester, I think I am going to hit craigslist hard to get some people together. I might try to contact my dirt rocker guitar friend (played with him for a few months) to see if he ever wrote a guitar riff for the sound cloud stuff I posted for yall. He's had those same riffs since before my baby was born. (march if you are keeping track). Maybe He'll surprise me and have actually done something with them. If not, I think it's time to move on. As cool as he is, what's the point of trying to play music if the other guy doesn't try at all.
Or should I even say anything? We are on two different planes here. He is into pedaling chug chug stuff. It hasn't worked with him yet, but he is so nice. I don't want to feel like a douche.
Here's some cool stoner/desert rock for ya's...

I saw this on my local CL and laughed. I thought it was worth posting here.
But they aren't actually doing the booking themselves. They're asking for other people to include them in pre-existing shows.
I don't get why this is funny. They are booking the tour themselves and are looking for help booking dates. Isn't that what everyone else does?
Sorry, I agree with this. How are they supposed to do it themselves if they don't know anyone in an area? That's how I would do it if I was going on tour or something. Hey here's my band, check out our music. If you like it we'd really appreciate you helping us find shows!
I've been talking to Summoner, trying to help them find a show in Pittsburgh. Mainly cause I love their music and wanna see them play in the burgh. Seems to be about the same thing.
I do know a lot people these days that consider putting up a flyer on their facebook status to be "promoting a show", so there is a lot of genuine laziness and entitlement to go around.
