Just ordered a Mojo Hand Colossus from Prymaxe! Next week is gonna be a good week!

What I like about the Mojo Hand is you can get that old scooped muff sound. or turn the tone down and crank the mid knob for a warm wooly sound. The switch is cool too.

I love that scooped muff sound, it just doesnt cut through enough, I'm gonna dial in just enough mids to cut.

Ok..so all this talk about the mojo hand made me go check the bassfuzz.com demo.... Looks like I need another fuzz pedal.

It is a really good sounding fuzz. It sounds good through every amp I've used it on. With my collection all I want now is a Supercollider. I think I'm gonna put my SFT up for trade since it's not getting any use. I've kinda wondered away from OD's

Since I'm just looking for a backup head (and not actually gigging with the new band yet) I am taking my time as opposed to my normal impulse purchase.

The PF500 idea went away when I started reading about the Genz Benz Streamliner 900. However now I think I am pretty set on a 7 Pro, considering it may even end up being able to replace my VR.

I always like the 4pro too. never owned one but used a friends for a bit and it sounded really good with 15's. took pedals really good

Laz..dont you have a power amp? Just pick up a svp-cl or svp-pro....

Will keeping the VR on top of the CL do any damage? There are little indents from the VR feet, but I can't imagine it would cause any long-term damage (i.e. cracked wood).

When I get my own place, I'll be looking for a vintage 810 with the silver front to match the VR. I wouldn't mind getting some Bergantino/Lowdownsound cabs (610 and 215), but I just can't get enough Ampeg. Playing a show with two full Ampeg stacks would be good and doomy... right? I'd be ****ing set for life.

Until I get a third one with a V-4B head...

that's just internet, computer speaker, MP3 magic. Stand in front of it and I guarantee you will hear a difference. Not saying the 7 PRO will sound worse, but different.
