Strangest celebrity encounter you've had?

My older sister's ex-husband was a part of Snoop Dogg's entourage - they grew up together, affiliated gangs, all of that. I was there early in the morning (I had spent the night) when she got a phone call that the rapper Tray Dee was coming over for something. I had to be 15 or so...looked down and saw my little shorts and faded spongebob shirt, along with my holy mismatched socks, and decided that something had to be done to enhance my street cred. Thinking quickly, I remembered that there was a wave cap around, somewhere. I found it, put it on, turned on the playstation and shortly thereafter a knock at the door. Sho nuff it was Tray Dee, wearing Stacy Adams and a grey 3-piece suit. I had my back turned somewhat to the door, glanced over and in my faux-nonchalant voice said "sup." He looked over my ashy knees, little shorts, holy socks and spongebob shirt, looked me in the eyes with disdain and walked away :(

I knocked over Rod Morganstein in the Hollywood Guitar Center back in the 90's...I had no idea who it was until my drummer told me and acting like I had just broken all 10 commandments. Rod was cool about it though.

I have a bunch of these!!
I was sitting on a bench eating my lunch watching the Santa Monica, CA surfers and this guy came jogging by. He sat down next to me, I said hello, we exchanged the great day for a run stuff and off he went. It was Carl Weathers, Apollo Creed himself!

Even better, I was sitting in Cheetah's in Anaheim, CA. Big table and Dan Donagen from Disturbed was across from me. After bellying up to the bar for a bunch of shots with Vinnie Paul and Dimebag, I sat back down at my table next to Dan's girlfriend - a VICTORY SECRETS Cover model!! Ah yes, it was a good night at the strip club!

I met Mudvayne back in 2005, and I had quite the odd experience with their bassist Ryan and singer Chad, although hilarious. I was at a meet and greet. Once I got up to them, Ryan points to my goatee and says "Is that real? or do you have extensions" I with an odd expression on my face replied " Yeah, I've been growing it for the past 4 years. " Than he turned and looked at Chad ( who at the time had extensions in his goatee as he always used to) and says " told you thats 100 bucks."

I just laughed and insisted on a picture of him pointing at my goatee with chad looking envious. Definitely the nicest band I have ever met.

My buddy played a show at small bar in Aptos (small town by Santa Cruz.) While setting up, Ryan and Chad walked in, listen to whole set, complimented them. Then while we were loading my truck (I was helping them with a show) both came up and just bsed with us for a hour or so, hanging out at the parking lot of a bar. Really nice dudes, never felt like i was hanging out with someone who is famous, just regular talk about music and random stuff. Had a few drinks too. Definitely a very pleasant experience.

Mudvayne? Never heard of them. You sure they are famous or celebrities?

When I worked at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk Amusement Park in '98 professional skater and former Bones Brigade member Steve Caballero came up and played the game that I was operating - one of those games where you hit the pad with a big hammer and see how high you can make the light go. I didn't realize how short he is until then. I was pretty stoked. I used to watch the heck outta those old Bones Brigade videos.
