Can this drive be heard on both outputs, or just the 1/4" out and not the XLR?

On the 1:4" preamp output all the time and on the ZKr output in post position (not pre)Can this drive be heard on both outputs, or just the 1/4" out and not the XLR?
It's a very mild tube pre-ish drive type. Correct, nothing gets fizzy.@agedhorse thank you! What's the flavour of the "drive"/boost? Classic tube amp being driven? I also assume that thanks to the Subway 115 based cab sim, cranking the gain when going through the XLR output doesn't get fizzy?
Disclaimer: I've just ordered one. A few days after ordering a Magellan Pre. I'll A/B them both and keep the one I prefer. I have a feeling the Mesa is more my thing for the style I play.
Are you using the other pedals before the preamp? Wireless into the first pedal? The pedal sounds glorious. I was using a Lehle Basswitch IQDI, which is a squeaky clean high end DI, and some other pedals for a bit of grit. Just switching the IQDI for the Subway gave my grit even more texture and the Subway had authority in the low end and a more present upper midrange. It took me all of a minute to dial in a tone that slotted well with the band and as a result I was able to hear myself better without stepping on the mix. I had been struggling to do so with the IQDI. The mild cab sim on the DI out is very well executed, doesn't sound like a heavy handed EQ rather a more natural "real bass amp" tone.
YMMV, but if you are on the fence about this one just go for it! This is likely the best in ear tone I have ever had and it was frankly easy to achieve. My bank account wishes I had started my DI journey with the old Subway+ pedal! Making this tone more accessible is really just Agedhorse doing us all a solid. Buy one already!
Yes. Pretty conventional signal path but it looks funky on the double board. I do not miss having an effects loop. Are you using the other pedals before the preamp? Wireless into the first pedal?

This may not be true unless that are so backordered that the next shipment is also sold out. Keep checking.Oh well, I had one on order, there was stock. Then the shop told me they couldn't take my PayPal payment due to a discrepancy between the account address and the delivery address (my fault). So they sent me a payment link, and by the time I went to pay, it went out of stock.
No stock expected until November (!!!?) here in UK/Europe. What the heck?!
I cancelled my order, I'm not a patient man.
I'm loving mine as well through my QSC K12.2. Did you makes the box under your pedalboard? It looks awesome.Loving this pre!! Sounds great through the Interbass.
Thank you. It's an extremely well made board but I can't take credit. These are from a builder called Hands . I highly recommend them. Well priced too.I'm loving mine as well through my QSC K12.2. Did you makes the box under your pedalboard? It looks awesome.
