I haven't bought a flanger yet. Will probably go for the Strymon.So... did you get the Vortex? What's the word? IMO, it looks like the best choice at the moment. I've built my own version of the A/DA flanger and it rocks.

I have had the Strymon Orbit for a while now. It's exactly what I was looking for. It will never leave my pedalboard.
I JUST bought a TC Vortex. Just looking for something cheap that can get the Boss sound (basic) but looks better on my vanity board. I can post my thoughts when I get it....for other people reading, I see you found your guy.
I don't have an expression pedal, so I haven't tested it.What do you think of the expression control on that Orbit?
For me, a delay is the effect I can't justify spending a lot on. While delay is in my top two of effects (the other being flanger), it's not something I can easily incorporate into my band's music, at least not to the extent that it's worth the kind of money a Timeline costs.Love my Timeline....just not sure if flanger can be an effect that I can justify dropping all that on....delay was, to me. I guess it depends on how evolved that make it.
Nope, got it for christmas.Find a deal on it somewhere? Seems that price was a factor previously.
