Exactly! For me it's going to be four more busy days, but I think I'll manage to get everything done.
Question: Is it allowed to post further stuff like sound samples to the build threat after the deadline, or rather not? I've seen it both ways in previous buildoffs, so...
As far as I remember, yes that's cool. I think I've seen it happen a few times. I always thought it makes sense to not only show everyone what your new instrument looks like, but also how it sounds. A natural extension of the photo series.I don't remember if it was cool to add a sound clip with the final pics for voting (was it?)
As to that, how much time is there between the deadline and the start of voting? Because in that short interval we all have to compose and submit our official entries.
I'd have liked to be able to do this at leisure. Will it now be a hasty thing?
Information please, @Beej
Those west coasters are always taking it easy and lagging behind.
Voting was only seven days at the last WBO, I suppose it would be similar this time?Voting usually begins immediately following the deadline, and lasts a few weeks.

People are always going on about how “language is fluid”, so in this case I can claim that “a few” includes “one”….![]()

In mathematics, "there is one" has the meaning of "there is at least one".
So we're both right either way. Cool, eh?

Well, depending on how fast one is or what tools one has at disposal, seven day could equate seven instruments built.
And luckily language is so fluid as to accommodate that came. Just like ghoti is a possible way to spell fish phonetically
Cut and paste from post #1 ... "Dates: 1600h PST (UTC -8) Wednesday, June 22, 2022 to 1600h PST (UTC -8) Wednesday, September 21, 2022"When is the official end to the buildoff?
Mine's going to be down to the wire again....
