Super 300 Owners Society

It has really been hit or miss with shipping to the US in the last 6 months. The big issue is the San Francisco customs/distribution center. Sometimes packages get stuck there for 3-4 weeks, other times they fly through in a matter of days. I haven't noticed any slowdowns since late January so I hope things will pass thru quickly. Typically it takes about 7-10 business days.

Mine shipped out last night, but looks like a couple weeks until it will be delivered! Hopefully shipping will be faster!
Waiting for Mine, can't wait to get that old school crunch! This will eliminate my Bass Tube Screamer and possibly my compressor from my current pedal line-up. Some songs just need that '60's tube overdrive warmth that can't be duplicated with a class D amp.

I have a Super 300 on order for April but I guess it will take some time to Sweden. My SV-Pre is finally out for delivery after 4!?! weeks in customs...

I have some great Ampeggy preamps to test it against. SCR-DI, VT Bass DI, CatalinBread SFT, One Control Sonic Silver Peg, DSM Humboldt Simplifier Bass Station, Broughton Fliptop and soon the SV-Pre, Basswitch Sonic Spark (kind of Ampeggy) and a Sushi Box Slampegg Bee Pre for March as well!

And all of this through a Shift Line CabZone X with either a B15 or 810, and 6L6 or 6550 for power amp emulation.

I have an Ampeg V-4B with an SVT-212AV too so I might have to play the preamps through my 2 Barefaced FR800 to compare as well!

Dude! :jawdrop::jawdrop::jawdrop: That's impressive!

Cool, this video is pretty good. Go to 7:54 to hear the deep clean, and take note of the settings.

I thought this pedal was way too buzzy for me until I realized that even with the pedal off, there is distortion.
Is there a video clip with the pedal being put through its' paces through either a clean amp or a DI?
Also, anyone try this pedal straight into a power amp or effects return?
TIA

Scroll down a bit, maybe these samples will work better for you?

I hope to see your review and general comments soon, as a fellow swede! Also, seing your total cost after customs, tax etc is interesting.

There were just two and they were also fuzz box city.
Not knocking this tone but my thing is about an SVT tone that is clean or with just a touch of fur.
Tube Ampeg pre's are working fine for me (CL and SVT IIP) but I would prefer this pedal if it can get a cleanish Ampeg tone.

It does super clean to Ampeg dirty, and everything in between.

My shipping notice has the same date. I was wondering if it was coming by oxcart from Canada like my great grandmother did? I figure it will show up earlier than posted.

Boosting a Dubterrograph... very killer.

So, the Ultra Low switch- which position is considered to be “on?” Ultra High is obviously on in the up position, but with Ultra Low you either have way more bass and less mid (down), or way more mid and less bass (up). I personally prefer up, but is that “on?”

That being said, there are so many routes to great tone with the Super 300. It’s a keeper for sure, and I haven’t even gotten into the Bright footswitch yet.
