Sweetwater

Sweetwater's customer service is tops as far as retailers go. I'm always surprised when I get a call from a rep asking how the Boogie amp I bought a month is working out and/or if there's anything they can help me with at the time. And you get candy...........

Only place I'd buy a new guitar or bass from online without playing it first is Sweetwater. You get photos and weights of the actual instrument you are buying and can pick which you want if they have several. Their inspection is great and both guitars I bought were ready to play right out the box so I'm guessing they at least do a limited setup before they ship.
Yes, their customer service is exceptional, you deal with one person, not just whichever headset jockey grabs your call. Plus they do have great financing options for when you are gassing real bad.

Their "55 point inspection" is a bit of a joke but other than that; buy with confidence. I purchased a couple things from them - all transactions went perfectly fine.

Other than that one bass showing up with the signed certificate - and the volume knob roaming around in the bag separately, as it came loose :)
Stuff happens, even at Sweetwater. I'd buy again from them no worries.

Regards
Mark

Agree with the other positive reviews. I let the sales representative know when I'm shopping for something and he usually bends over backwards to make sure I continue to do business with the company.

They also send out a huge Pro Gear catalog every once in a while. When I'm done with it, I take it to the local bar jam, throw it on the table and say, "pornography."
