Sweetwater

Yeah it's a trusted dealer and in my experiences with dealing with them I have no complaints. However, they do then send their massive catalog and other promo mail to you and your email if you buy something from them. Perhaps there is a option you can select you don't want it but I did not see it.

Trusted? Absolutely!

Pricing is at least fair, automatic 2 year warranty on most stuff and service is over the top. They have given me plenty of wiggle room on returns. If I don't need it "NOW" and I want it new, I order from them 95% of the time. Free shipping (in US) and no sales = tax tough to beat. I doubt they ship down under for free but neither does their competition.

I have had nothing but good experiences with them and their customer service. Couple of years ago I ordered a Martin D-28, the nut seemed odd, like if someone had messed around with it. I called them, they sent me a replacement right away without waiting for my return, the replacement was top notch.

Recently I had a struggle with Fender on a replacement neck for my $1,800.00 AVRI Jazz bass, after waiting 8 months I reached out to Sweetwater for advise, right away my sales rep asked me to send the bass in to them that they will take care it one way or the other, either with Fender or replace it right out.

Can't get better than that in my mind.

I've been dealing with Sweetwater for the better part of 5 years now. NEVER had an issue, with either shipping problems/damage to any product I've ordered. They also have great prices on the strings I use (Rotosound SM66 for under $20!!!).

Justin Rix, and now, Wayne Wildman (yes, that is his name!) have been nothing but gracious and helpful whenever I needed advice or technical support.

That being said, the only thing (and never a deal breaker for me) is that they don't take trade ins (even if it's something you might have bought from them). While they follow the manufacturers' exchange policies, they aren't The Guitar Center Flea Market (Thankfully! LOL).

Shop with confidence!

is sweetwater a trusted site? who has used this website and how was their experience?

Good prices, Excellent customer service. I was having issues with a new GK combo. After a few emails back and forth to try and drill down the problem, they sent a new replacement amp and covered shipping for the return of the defective amp. I will always go to Sweetwater first.
