Sweetwater

I can only say that their customer service is the best I have ever experienced. From having an assigned sales person to them bending over backwards to make sure I am satisfied. I ordered a Tech21 VTDI pedal from them when they were first released. The one I got developed a horrible 60 cycle hum within a couple of days. I contacted my sales engineer and I had a new one next day with a return shipping label and two bags of candy. Plus the sales engineer called me shortly after it arrived to see if anything else was needed and that I was satisfied with the service. I live in Illinois yet they still sent it next day shipping. That is customer service I can get used to. I have been a customer ever since. Bought a lot of new gear from them, just ordered another Tech21 DP3X from them yesterday. Will get here tomorrow. As stated previously, they have the best customer service period. Also, I have bought many "demo" effect pedals from them and they all were 100% out of the box. They take care of their customers. I can't say enough good things about them.

I didn't think about the candy... lol

Without hesitation! I only wish other stores had the class and character that Sweetwater does. I have gotten pretty big discounts from my rep but most without any discounts available. If something gets delivered with defects my rep sends out a replacement and the RMA tag ASAP. Their service and history as a reputable business is almost historic. I've met and talked with Chuck Surack and quite a few employees at the annual GearFest (Go at least once in your life if you are G.A.S. diagnosed :D). You won't regret it.

That said, humans are fallible and some items I have received should not have passed the 55 point inspection, but like I said above the replacement(s) were on their way with one phone call. I rarely look any further than Sweetwater.

You can take all of the above TB comments to the bank on this topic at TB. Other topics here? You'll need to create your own 55 point inspection. :roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:!

Purchase without fear and happy bassing!

My eight year old daughter is the one who gets most of the candy since I have to limit my sweets intake. She knows what is coming when she sees a box with the Sweetwater tape on it. Lol!

I am going to try to go to one of their Gearfests in the next couple of years. A friend of mine went last year and just gushed about all of the stuff that was there.

I placed my first ever order with Sweetwater Friday night: $15 worth of guitar picks for my son. Yesterday, I got both a phone call and an email from "my" sales rep offering his assistance with any future purchases. I never got that from GC/MF even when I dropped a couple grand with them.
Yes, and if you don't want to receive any sales calls all you have to do is tell them and they will leave you alone. I did just that and my rep never calls out of the blue but only when I email him to see if he is working that day and not too busy to chat awhile about a possible purchase. One caveat, if there is an issue with a purchase he will call to follow it up until I am satisfied with the results. They take service calls very seriously.

I was originally turned onto them from my daughters orchestra teacher. She’s a cellist and that’s where I found her student cello. Since then (10 years ago) I’ve bought her a guitar/amp kit, my aerodyne, am ashdown tube amp and a few sets of strings. Everything has arrived within 1-3 days and in perfect condition.
Can’t beat that with a stick!

Sweetwater takes care of customers. They are a highly trusted online retailer. They are the first place I check when looking for new gear.

I don't know if their website adjusts to, or gives you the option to adjust to your local currency, but keep in mind that shipping a bass from the USA to Australia will cost about $400US (+/-?).
